Zukowski Meadowview
Farms is located in Battle Creek, Michigan and is operated by Tia Zukowski.
Her
specialty is the Purebred and Part bred Arabian, trained in a stress-free environment,
competing at the Regional and National level. Tia is Nationally recognized as a top
trainer in the areas of Native Costume and Youth Showmanship.
Zukowski's Meadowview Farms is one of the safest
and most complete training and breeding facilities. The operation includes two heated show
barns, an artificial insemination area, a heated indoor riding arena and 100 acres of
fenced pasture land. For both the staff of Zukowski's and the horse owner it is a pleasant
place to work and ride through the cold Michigan winters or the dog days of summer.
Tia
can assist the horse owner in achieving a finely tuned performance or halter horse. Her
specialty is the Purebred and Part bred Arabian, trained and conditioned in a stress-free
environment, yet able to compete and win at the Regional and National level.
Their main focus is to involve the owner in all phases of the horse's training, and
most of all, they enjoy working with them as a team. Tia firmly believes in a training
style that inc operates "extreme patience and great perseverance". A varied
routine is critical to reduce any boredom or monotony for the horse. She "puts no
undue stress on the horse" and if it appears too immature, she'll send it back home
to grow up a little.
A very special part of Zukowski's Meadowview Farms is the relationship with the young
riders who want to compete in Class A shows at the Nationals level. The "Zu
Krew"", as they call themselves, hold a very high place in the heart
an d vision
of Tia and her staff. Everyone at Zukowski's Meadowview Farms has found that working with
"goal oriented" youths is a very rewarding experience. But, if you are an
adult who enjoys showing your own horse, don't worry, the Zu Krew has plenty
of room for those young riders in the "eighteen to ninety-nine" age group.
If youve ever been to a Class A Arabian
horse show where Zukowski
trained horses are showing, youll be amazed by the family atmosphere and support
given to every rider. And when a Zukowski horse wins its class - hold your ears. The
cheering is phenomenal.
